If you’re a developer, chances are you’ve said “It works on my machine” at least once in your life. If you haven’t… you’re either lying or you’re very new here.
I started my journey exactly there — writing code that worked, shipping features fast, and feeling proud when the UI didn’t break on refresh. But somewhere between fixing production bugs at 2 AM and explaining APIs to non-technical stakeholders, something changed.
I stopped building features and started building systems.
Let’s be honest — writing code is the fun part.
The real challenge begins when:
That’s when you realise:
Good software isn’t about clever code — it’s about predictable behavior under chaos.
At some point, I stopped asking:
“How do I implement this?”
And started asking:
That mindset shift changed everything.
Today, when I design a feature, I think end-to-end:
Yes, it takes more effort.
No, it’s not overengineering.
It’s called professional engineering.
I love clean architecture.
I also love shipping.
The balance comes from:
Production teaches you humility. Logs teach you patience. Users teach you everything else.
Despite the bugs, the deadlines, and the occasional “why is this null?” moments — I genuinely love building things.
There’s something deeply satisfying about:
And yes — seeing a system you designed handle real traffic without breaking feels better than coffee ☕.
On this portfolio, you’ll see:
If you’re a recruiter, founder, or fellow developer — welcome.
If you’re here just browsing — enjoy the ride.
And if something breaks… don’t worry.
It probably works on my machine 😉.
